Champagne M. Marcoult is a committed independent grower-producer with a strong focus on understanding and preserving its terroir. Extensive soil studies and detailed vineyard mapping allow the family to tailor its viticulture and winemaking to the diverse soils found across the estate, from chalk and clay to sand and flint. While Chardonnay and Pinot Noir form the heart of production, the estate also cultivates the rarer Petit Meslier and Pinot Blanc varieties, bringing further diversity and complexity to its wines.
Certified HVE (High Environmental Value), M. Marcoult takes a thoughtful approach to sustainable viticulture through cover cropping, eco-grazing, biodiversity initiatives and reduced treatments in the vineyard. The estate also uses massal selection to encourage genetic diversity and resilience within its vines. As an Independent Winegrower, all wines are produced in its own cellar exclusively from grapes grown on the estate.
