Bollinger - The Luxury of Time
The Bollinger style

Bollinger remain quite possibly one of the most famous family-owned champagne houses of all. Bollinger are well known for their dominance of the powerful and expressive Pinot Noir from Aÿ where they were founded, their use of magnums for production of all their wines and a traditional winemaking style incorporating fermentation in oak barrels which they have never deviated from. They still have their own in-house Cooper who makes and manages their stock of some 3,500 barrels! That equates to about 1 million bottles being fermented in barrel that is the largest (along with Krug) than any other producer in the region. Currently Bollinger own some 164 hectares in some of the best sites across champagne.
Bollinger
True champagne fans won’t be unfamiliar with the beauty of champagne that is created by Bollinger, a dominant brand in the industry. For years this brand has continued to produce high-quality wines and champagnes (both vintage and non-vintage), and of course, the latter is what we love most about them.
Out of the champagnes that Bollinger produce, their Magnum champagne is the one that our experts are very fond of. After up to 4 years of maturing, you’ll be overwhelmed with the intense flavours that it fills your mouth with.
Emperor Champagne’s Bollinger Products
While the Magnum product is a favourite of ours, it’s not the only drink from Bollinger that our customers can choose from.
Bollinger Brut Rosé. As a champagne connoisseur you might be interested in broadening your palate and if you’ve enjoyed Bollinger’s selection before, this rosé might be worth your while. This blend contains red wine, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier – together with 5 years of maturing; this isn’t one you’ll want to miss out on.
Bollinger Grande Annee ’05. Back on champagne, the Grande Annee ’05 sticks with the fruitiness that you’d expect but has a more tropical flavour. After a few sips of this oaky matured champagne, an intense smoky wave will hit your palate.
Bollinger La Grande Annee ’07. Finally, this vintage bottle comes from years of maturing in oak barrels and is one of the latest champagnes that we’ve seen from Bollinger. Combined in this bottle is a mix of honeycomb, malt biscuit, and walnut which all come together to produce a desirable champagne.
