- High quality producer based in Avize

- Excellent value Brut NV that is loaded with premium fruit and 5 years ageing

- Pair with goats cheese, baguette and green grapes

The luscious, richness of this silky smooth champagne is balanced with a clean line of acidity and freshness. The cuvée leads with chardonnay from Grand Cru village Avize with the balance being 50% pinot noir The chardonnay in this brilliant entry level champagne has moved from taut acidity to being round and luxuriant.

This is an exceptional value cuvée and if you like Bollinger or cuvée's with extra body then you will enjoy this boutique grower. Don't be shy, try a bottle or two - your guests will thank you!

Founded in Avize, a village of Champagne ranked as a Grand Cru, the House of Frerejean Frères was established in 2005. Only 10 hectares in size, this boutique production aspires to preserve and respect the unique terroir, allowing the vines and the wines to express the power and the subtlety of the land. The Frerejean-Taittinger brothers grew up with love and respect for the Champagne tradition. Passionate for oenology, Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe created their own House of Champagne. Rodolphe has a lot of flair and style and this is reflected in their champagnes.

Aged 5 years on lees with a further 1 year in bottle. A low dosage of 6.5g/l.

We love the energy and freshness of the wine as well as that lees richness. Perhaps a light, fresh goats cheese with baguette and green grapes would set this off.
