What to expect


This unique rosé using 100% meunier and made using three different methods. It is 10% meunier in a red wine, 30% saignée and the balance being barrel-ageing white meunier wine. Completely unique!  The result is a super juicy palate with crunchy red fruit, think cranberry, blood orange and rosehip. Follow this up with a gentle grip or bite from the tannin and you have an ultra dry rosé with plenty of fruit, freshness and drive.

Food suggestion

This exciting family estate is located in the south of Champagne in the small village of Chavot - a village that rarely receives fan-fare but it has a worthy grower producing fascinating cuvees in its midst. The 10 hectares of land farmed by the Laherte family are biodynamic and organic with the exception of two parcels which are located further afield in the Cote de Blancs and the Valley De La Marne. Young Aurèlien is the youngest generation of the house is and impressive young winemaker who is working in great partnership   

Food suggestion


As this wine has plenty of tannic energy and juicy red fruits, we would suggest going for something like a tuna tartare with chunks of fresh watermelon, olive oil and mint.
