André Jacquart

Champagne André Jacquart is a family-owned domaine located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, one of Champagne’s most celebrated regions for Chardonnay. The story began in the early 20th century when Michel Jacquart first acquired vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, laying the foundations for a house deeply connected to the region’s chalk-rich terroir. In 1958, his son André Jacquart established Champagne André Jacquart, creating a grower house focused on expressing the purity, elegance and minerality of the Côte des Blancs through refined Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

A Modern Approach to Traditional Champagne

Today, the estate is led by Marie Doyard, granddaughter of André Jacquart and descendant of one of Champagne’s most influential winemaking families. Since taking over the domaine in 2004, Marie has introduced a more contemporary approach while remaining deeply respectful of terroir and tradition. Her vision brought three defining pillars to the house style: vinification in oak barrels to build complexity, extended lees ageing for greater texture and depth, and low dosage to preserve the singular character of each wine. These decisions have shaped a collection of elegant, mineral-driven champagnes celebrated for their precision, freshness and ageing potential.

Terroir, Chardonnay & Sustainable Viticulture

Champagne André Jacquart works exclusively with vineyards in Vertus and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger — two exceptional terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. The region’s famous chalk soils provide natural water regulation and contribute the signature tension, finesse and minerality found in the wines. Chardonnay dominates the vineyards, producing expressive blanc de blancs champagnes with remarkable elegance and purity. Alongside its focus on terroir expression, the house is committed to sustainable viticulture and received HVE Level 3 certification in 2019, reflecting its ongoing dedication to environmentally conscious farming and the future of champagne.
