Domaine Collet Silex & Craie

The colour is slightly golden the nose is delicate, precise and elegant with beautiful brioche notes and a touch of dried fruit. The palate is delicate and fine, lemony, white flowers with an elegant bubble. Nice bitterness finish.

Thomas and Florent are the ninth generation of winegrowers at Fontaine-Denis and have been working the six-hectare estate, in the heart of the Côte de Sézanne, since 2002.
Its 17 plots form a fascinating mosaic where nature thrives. Low intervention, respect for Mother Nature, patience in the winery and stringent quality standards are, the brothers believe, what it takes to make champagnes with character that truly reflect their terroir.

100% Chardonnay from Fontaine-saint-Denis in Côte de Sézanne. 1g/L of sugar dosage. Wine partly matured in oak casks during and 48 months on lees.

Pair this very mineral blanc de blanc with oysters, langoustines or others seafood. Also work well with a simple caesar salad.
