Who is Savart? Savart is an exciting champagne house based in Eceuil along the Marne Valley, that focuses on making expressive, organically-managed and terroir-driven champagne. They own just 4 hectares of land (1 of which is in neighbouring village of Villiers-aux-Noeuds) most of which is pinot noir and they craft a small quantity of high quality champagne each year. We are very fortunate in Australia to have access to this small allocation and our proud to have it available for all the champagne lovers out there. Having taken over from his father Daniel in 2005, Frédéric Savart has been focussed on the vineyards and improving their health. The results show in the wines - they are crystal clear expressions of both soil and grape variety, offering aromatic complexity along with mineral freshness. Texturally graceful and full of life, these are gastronomic champagnes of the highest order.
