Sale price

Aged for eight years and sealed with a traditional agrafe, this Blanc des Blancs is creamy and mineral. Chardonnay grapes are sourced from 90-year-old Grand Cru vieilles vignes (old vines) from Côte des Blancs vineyards, including vines that dates back to 1926, then leave them in oak barrels for seven months. Our Grand Gru is the result of a strict selection from our plots of old vineyards, some of them dating back to 1926.

The prolonged ageing of eight years offers on the palate silky and rounded textures, followed by toasted almonds, vanilla custard cream and subtle spices enhanced by a delicate mousse.

Bright gold. Very fne bead. Particularly arresting bready nose. The Chardonnay tension is evident only on the very end of a delicate, creamy palate. Hint of putty. Really very good indeed. Drink 2018-2026.
17.5/20, JANCIS ROBINSON

Founded in Avize, a village of Champagne ranked as a Grand Cru, the House of Frerejean Frères was established in 2005. Only 10 hectares in size, this boutique production aspires to preserve and respect the unique terroir, allowing the vines and the wines to express the power and the subtlety of the land. The Frerejean-Taittinger brothers grew up with love and respect for the Champagne tradition. Passionate for oenology, Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe created their own House of Champagne. Rodolphe has a lot of flair and style and this is reflected in their champagnes.

90% Chardonnay from Cramant, 10% Chardonnay from Avize & Oger. Aged for eight years and sealed with a traditional agrafe. Low dosage.

Pair with vintage parmesan cheese. Keep it simple and enjoy this complex wine.
