Pierre Péters Cuvée de Réserve Brut NV

This 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay non-vintage Champagne has an inherent complexity on the palate thanks to the addition of at least 45% reserve wines to the blend. The House's perpetual reserve of wines which is inspired by the Solera Method, is enriched with more than 25 different years, with vintages going back to 1988.

The wine is limpid, pale gold in color with hints of green which are typical of Chardonnay. The mousse is fine and regular with a pretty ribbon of bubbles.

The first approach is both flowery and fruity, next come the notes of almond and fresh bread finishing with touches of citrus and green apple leaving a graceful impression of smoothness and freshness.

The first impression is frank, associating both finesse and smoothness, and is dominated by white flower fruits (lemon and pear) and floral notes (acacia). The mid-palate is nervy and taut. The finish is persistent with pure citrus flavors and a twist of salinity which confirms the fact that the majority of the fruit is sourced from the great village of Le Mesnil sur Oger; the balance coming from the equally prestigious Grand Cru villages of Oger,
Cramant and Avize.

This Blanc de Blancs is a dream with fresh seafood, but as the weather cools down, it's all about cozying up with some creamy, soft cheeses. The crispness and freshness of this wine works to cut through the richness and fattiness of the cheese.

The House flagship Champagne is a blend of more than 20 years of harvests and is exclusively composed of Chardonnay from Grand Cru villages in the Côte des Blancs. 100% Chardonnay. 6-7g/l dossage.

The Pierre Péters estate, situated in the heart of the "Côte des Blancs" in the village of Le Mesnil sur Oger, has been a family house for six generations and has produced Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagnes since 1919. We do everything possible to express the chalky soil of our great terroirs as passionate craftsmen.

Champagne grower-producer, our wines come exclusively from our own vineyards. Our house currently operates just over 19 hectares of Chardonnay, mainly located in the communes of Le Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant.

Our family has developed from generation to generation, its own selection of grapes (mass selection). We have been able to maintain and age vineyards which are now 30-years old on average. Each year in respect of the environment, we adapt our cultivation methods to obtain healthy grapes so that our Champagne expresses more precisely the richness, subtlety and the elegance of the great "terroirs" of the Côte des Blancs.
