This is the mainstay of the Ruinart Maison and it encapsulates the notion of 'fresh' and 'balanced' with around 51% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and a little Meunier to finish. The Chardonnay is the very soul of Ruinart and mainly harvested from villages across the Cote des Blancs, Montagne de Reims plus some Pinot noir coming from the Aube Valley in the very south of champagne.
The nose is delicate displaying aromas of fresh white pear and with notes of hazelnut and almonds followed by white floral tones, warm pastry and buttered brioche. The palate is clean and fresh displaying some roundness and lasting length.
An easy way to start off your champagne session.
