- Incredibly fresh style of vintage blanc de blancs from Charles Collin
- Only their best fruit is reserved for this cuvée, giving ageing potential and promise
- Pair with clean, healthy sashimi with healthy doses of pickled ginger and Yuzu
The latest vintage Blanc de blancs release from Charles Collin is the 2010. Sourced from some of the best vineyard parcels of their 300-strong growers in the Côte des Bar, this is the quintessential 'blanc de blancs' style that has white florals, nougat and some lemon candied fruit.
We love the energy on the palate too, bright, fresh and racy with a slightly chalky texture to it.
The 2010 harvest by all accounts in the northern part of champagne was not exactly 'healthy' due to a lot of rain after a hot summer. However in the southern part of champagne, they were better off and the fruit quality overall was good to excellent with little problems that the north faced.
