It's that time of the month, where we send you some cracking champagne. The two producers that we have chosen this month, perfectly highlight this month's theme of Chalk Vs. Clay.
Pierre Gimonnet et Fils is our 'Chalk' inspired producer who is based in the town of Cuis which is at the tip of the Côte des Blancs. The wine we are looking is their Rosé de Blancs which is exceptionally light in colour and really shows more minerality and crystalline purity than upfront fruit characters. This is destined for all of our Lovers.
Our next producer, making his debut into the club is Andre Heucq who is our 'Clay' inspired biodynamic grower based in the village of Cuisles, just 30 mins north-west of Epernay. This was a sensational find with clear definition, freshness and elegance all rolled into one. This is on route to all of our Connoisseurs.
