More Than a Family Story — A Passion

Champagne Collard-Picard is a proudly independent Récoltant-Manipulant house, founded in 1996 and carried by the 5th and 6th generation of the Collard family: Olivier, Caroline, and Alexandre. With deep family roots across two iconic Champagne identities, Collard-Picard represents something rare — a modern grower house built on generational know-how, with a sharp commitment to quality at every step. Producing around 90,000 bottles per year, the estate is now shared across 25+ countries, balancing French heritage with a global presence.

More about Collard-Picard
Food Pairings

This is a versatile, crowd-pleasing champagne that moves effortlessly from aperitif to table. Pair it with roast chicken, seafood pasta, or creamy risotto. Its balance of freshness and complexity also makes it ideal alongside soft cheeses or dishes with buttery, pastry-like elements.

Technical Notes

A blend of 50% Chardonnay from Le Mesnil Oger, 25% Meunier, and 25% Pinot Noir from the Valley De La Marne, this cuvée is built from a perpetual reserve spanning 2008 to 2019—bringing remarkable depth and consistency. Sourced from both the Côte des Blancs (including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger) and the Vallée de la Marne’s right bank, the terroir combines fossil-rich chalk with clay-limestone soils. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts in large oak barrels, followed by approximately 15 months ageing on fine lees. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to retain freshness. Bottled in March 2020 and aged for a minimum of five years before release.

What to Expect

A beautifully expressive cuvée with a golden yellow hue, this champagne opens with a pure, fruit-driven nose layered with subtle pastry notes. On the palate, it’s seductive and finely structured, balancing freshness with depth. Expect intensity, complexity, and a long, persistent finish—this is a champagne that truly lingers.
