This is a silky, golden champagne, with a delicate bead offering subtle and vivid aromas. There is a clear and lively, mineral dimension on the nose which then opens up with fresh citrus and wet-stone aromas. There is a change of tempo on the mid-palate, offering delicate notes of white flowers and lemon balm. Further definition brings subtly spiced flavours of clove which culminates in a long, light finish, accentuated by chalky minerality and a hyper clean acidity. What a lip-smacker.

Technical details: 100% Chardonnay from all Grand Cru vineyards, Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger & Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger. Aged 9 years on lees
