L’ascendant - a perfect name for this Solera which ascends every year in depth and complexity. From the same blend as the basic l’Atavique, but more richness and body. But still the same house style of linearity and crispness.
All fruit sourced from their biodynamic vineyards in the Grand Cru of Verzy. This a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, all aged in used French oak, unfined and unfiltered. The solera blend is 50% from the 2014 vintage, 50% from the 2013-2010 "Solera de la cuvee L'Atavique". Dosage: 0 g/L Disgorged 01/2019 and only 6544 bottles produced.
