- 100% Reserve wine champagne, Uber rare style of champagne.
- Hyper exotic, rich, decadent style for Dom Perignon, Krug and power champagne lovers
We open up to wild strawberry, fresh mango plus some apricot and honeycomb swirling an absolute storm. It is somewhat difficult to describe this wine without so many adjectives however in this instance we cannot help it.
The olfactory story continues with apricot brandy, rum/cognac-like notes of dark red fruit, cooking spice, caramel, baked apple and Tarte Tatin meandering their way to a sensual, moreish and exotic finish that goes on for what seems forever. Akin to hypnotism.
On the northern of the Montagne de Reims in Ludes, Francois Huré and his brother, Pierre, run their family estate of Huré Frères, cultivating about 26 acres (10 hectares) of vines. Most of the vineyard work is organic and parcels are vinified separately to preserve their characters. Huré's champagnes combine rich texture with racy acidity, as demonstrated by the non vintage Invitation, made mostly of pinot noir and meunier.
