- Grand Cru Chardonnay coming from 'Les Coulmets' vineyard, right below the famous 'Les Chetillons' vineyard.
- Made in the excellent 2014 harvest and using the Haute Valuer Environmentale method of sustainable farming
- Serve as an aperitif with smoked salmon and caviar canapés.
A bright and shiny light golden hue, 'Les Coulmets' is an airy champagne with sensations of white flowers and citrus fruits, such as lychee or bergamot. The palate experiences well-roundedness with notes of hazelnuts and pruned almonds, pastries and honey of spring acacia flowers. This definitely needs time after disgorgement, to show it's true potential.
A champagne produced exclusively from older vines in the village of “Les Coulmets”. As a mono-cru or mono-plot, this cuvée was produced from a single, exceptional parcel, planted with 100% Chardonnay.
