Since 2002 we have been discovering the nuances of each vine and reproducing them in this cuvée. As the years have passed, we have been perfecting and refining the blends and, thanks to our work in the vines, the true identity of the terroir has come to the fore in what is now the quintessential expression of all Domaine Collet has to offer.

To the eye, this golden champagne exhibits persistent fine bubbles. On the nose Collet displays a prominent minerality and delicious aromas of ripe fruit. Despite its young age, this champagne has a unique maturity, showing a strong acidity yet soft elegance. Empriente de Terroirs lasts long after that final sip.

Thomas and Florent are the ninth generation of winegrowers at Fontaine-Denis and have been working the six-hectare estate, in the heart of the Côte de Sézanne, since 2002.
Its 17 plots form a fascinating mosaic where nature thrives. Low intervention, respect for Mother Nature, patience in the winery and stringent quality standards are, the brothers believe, what it takes to make champagnes with character that truly reflect their terroir.

The blend of 74% Chardonnay and 26% Pinot Noir reflects the proportion of these grape varieties planted on the estate. Reserve wine from 2019 (56%), 2018 (26%), 2017 (4%), 2016 (7%) and 2015 (7%).

Fermentation in oak barrels (49%), stainless steel tanks (29%) and oak tanks (22%). 30 months ageing. 2.5g/l dosage.

White fish and fresh seafood (i.e. prawns, oysters or crayfish) enhance the minerality of this champagne.
