Founded in 1846 by brothers Jules and Auguste Devaux, the house was then managed by three inspiring women who led the family winery with remarkable energy and talent in equal measure. Devaux is located in a village known as Hameau de Villeneuve the far south of Champagne in an area known as the Côte des Bar, where big luscious pinot noir fruit is the hero. Approximately 100 hectares of their huge land holding is dedicated to making the house champagne of Devaux, with the remaining fruit sold to other producers.

This champagne is a fabulous start if you are taking the first step to move away from the grand-marque, big-brands that you have bought for many years. They are a well produced range of wines which will totally satisfy you and your guests at your next soiree.

100% Pinot Noir originating from the Côte
des Bar, including some plots in conversion to organic farming. 20 to 25% reserve wine addition, some of which have been stored in oak barrels. Full malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. 3 years ageing on lees. 8g/L dosage.

Superb with roasted poultry with truffle juice or perhaps pair with Arctic char with a lemon and beetroot salad.
Also excellent with freshwater fish, game birds or an assortment of cheeses.
