- Pinot Noir dominant blend and an alternative brand to the mainstream
- An affordable Brut champagne for any occasion
- Great with canapés and light food.
When you combine great fruit, quality wine making and serious panache, you end up with Charles Collin Brut. This maison has been producing fabulous champagne since 1952 and it is a gem. This time, it is double the fun in Magnum format.
What we love is the immediate citrus driven nose of lemon and orange zest with the pinot noir shining through and bringing with it notes of white peach, red apple, pear and brioche. It has been aged generously for three years on lees, which adds to the silky mouthfeel and has an alluring richness thanks to the addition of 25% reserve wine that provides a long, harmonious and refreshing finish.
This is an excellent aperitif style champagne that is very affordable.
