    When you combine great fruit, quality wine making and serious panache, you end up with Charles Collin Brut. This maison has been producing fabulous champagne since 1952 and it is a gem.

    What we love is the immediate citrus driven nose of lemon and orange zest with the pinot noir shining through and bringing with it notes of white peach, red apple, pear and brioche.

    It has been aged generously for three years on lees, which adds to the silky mouthfeel and has an alluring richness thanks to the addition of 25% reserve wine that provides a long, harmonious and refreshing finish. Composition is 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay.

     

    Domaine Gavoty excels at creating soulful Rosé that is very refreshing. This complex and subtle Rosé is the resultant blend of three grape varieties grown on clay and limestone – Cinsault 10%, Grenache 75% and Syrah 15%. 

    The aromas are floral and contain restrained notes of strawberries and rose flower. The colour is a beautiful light salmon. You can pair it with spicy food, Provençal flavours (olive oil, lemon, garlic, tomatoes etc) and mixed salads.
