- This is a fun, bright and energetic style of rosé

- 100% pinot noir - 10% red wine

The colour is salmon-pink, highlighting the addition of 10% Pinot noir as a still wine and adds some power allowing this stellar cuvee to marry up to a huge range of dishes. The nose is filled with notes of fresh raspberry, pink grapefruit and tangy pomegranate.

Champagne Charles Collin was founded in 1952 in the heart of the Côte des Bar region and represents over 140 grape growers with 330 hectares of vines, making them one of the largest producers in the region. Based across two sites in Fontette and Essoyes, which is coincidentally also the home of the famous impressionist Auguste Renoir. They produce an excellent range of champagne at their state-of-the-art facility, from their award-winning Brut right through to their Prestige Cuvée – Cuvée Charles, in honour of their founder Charles Collin who was the man behind the grower vision back in the early 50’s.Over 90% of the vineyards are planted with Pinot noir, the remainder being planted with chardonnay. This is reflected in the range with the wines showing purity, expression and finesse. They are a young and dynamic team led by the talented winemaker Guillaume Cartier.

Savoury styled rosé, works great with soft white cheese - Chaource (a Cheese from Champagne) is excellent with this. Another option would be grilled prawns with a paella / gumbo affair.
